Pokémon colors
The Pokédex files every species under one of ten official body colors. Those labels follow Japanese color terms, which is why some Pokémon look orange in English but are listed as red or brown — and why there is no orange category at all.
PokémonPalette does something different: it extracts the dominant HEX values from official artwork so you can copy a usable palette for design work, or play the daily color guessing game.

Shiny colors
About seven in ten species change color family when they go shiny. Open any Pokémon page and toggle shiny, or search Shiny Umbreon and similar names — the canonical page is the non-shiny URL with a shiny switch.
